I Prefer the Old Models

Now, I know what you are probably thinking: 

New models are sexy, and more defined!

Siyurka what are you saying?!

You're right, the older models in WMV were more simpler with matching the lip syncing with the music, now with the new models they are more actions and motions. And it's difficult to pinpoint a good mouth motion or whatever that'll go with the lyric. 

Ever since finding a way to make patches/skins work again in WMV (you know who you are, and thank you for telling me) it brings back nostalgia. So much, hours and late hours getting up early before school to work on a machinima. Not getting enough sleep. 

I've done so many machinimas with the old models that I'm still not used to the newer models. I find difficulty in making machinimas because of it, and it is one of the reason of my deduction in my videos. Besides life.

I think most of every machinima I enjoy watching has remembered working with the old models and could possibly agree with me that it brings back good memories. Like remembering the old Orgrimmar or for those Alliance Stormwind. I had the point in my life to know and get to know the old models before the newer models were introduced and I am happy for that, to see WoW grow. I never thought I would see the day where characters would get new models. It was only a matter of time, but I never guessed it would impact the machinima community so much, in good ways and bad ways. 

I've used the old models in my machinimas before, because I like to and like I said, it's easier to match up with lip syncing. It's like anime characters, when they talk their mouth has only two motions. You could literally remove the original voice and put in yours instead. 

New models have pros and cons, the old models have pros and cons as well. 

I like to machinimate with both, if someone where to ask me if I had to choose between one, I wouldn't be able to answer, because it would be difficult. I miss the older models, but I also like working with the new ones. 

Old models are good to look back to and use once and in awhile, I think if I were to bring back Blood Elf High, I would use the old models, but if I were to bring back Love the Way You Lie, I would use the newer models. It can go back and forth between choosing. 

So in conclusion I like both, but I would recommend the old models to new machinimaists, to see how it is.
