Video Analysis and Interpretations - Week 10

 RABBIT 

This film discusses the lengths people do for greed. At the end of the day, greed is just nothing, it has no substance in this world. 

The start of the film thinks it'll be a fun story, just based on the coloration, and seeing two children, who would think are the innocent of innocent and can do no harm. However as it progresses, it has a dark twist to it. 

The animation is simple, but still creative, the musical composition tells us wha direction the film is going in. 

And overall the editing is pretty straight forward, track matting, simple sound editing etc. 

Fast Films 

The editing techniques of this film persists of cut out animations, masking old film scenes in particular. 

There's an immense sense of ongoing motion due to the train running, background imagery like the back drop is always moving. The editing helps in interweaving the video into one cohesive entity, with it's own plot. 

• For example, if it's a scene between lovers, all presiding film clips will be just like that. If there is a men walking, girls screaming, people fighting, all clips will be similar. 

Overall, lots of research and experimenting had probably been done.
